Popular Cinematographer P C Sriram daughter passes away

The popular Cinematographer P C Sriram’s daughter accidentally fell from the terrace of a four storied building and died. The popular cinematographer had worked in many films including Nayagan, Kuruthipunal and Devar Mahan. His daughter Swetha who is aged 24 was working as a software engineer in a private computer company. She was earning more than 50,000 rupees per month. She was not married. Day before yesterday she participated in a Deepavali party hosted in an apartment at Kilpauk Ladle Road. Eight of her friends were sitting in the terrace and eating. Some of them were singing and dancing. At this point of time Swetha unexpectedly fell from the top of this four storied building. She who was struggling for her life was rushed to a private nursing home but she was declared dead. Kilpauk police Inspector had filed a case and is enquiring this matter. There is a doubt whether anybody else could have pushed her.

Vetrimaaran speaks about Aadukalam

Director Vetrimaaran while speaking about his film Aadukalam said, “For a warrior battlefield is his playground. But for the sportsman, the playground itself is a battlefield. Life is also like that. Life is a game where we win for some time, loose for some time.

Some play, some make others play. I am speaking about life which is like a chess game in the film Aadukalam. Though there is a meaning grammatically for Aadukalam, there is also another meaning for it.

Many are asking that how Dhanush fitted in this role. The hero should be uneducated and wearing a dirty lungi and shirt. Dhanush fitted this role. He has kept aside his heroism and star image to do this role.

He can be seen as Karuppu instead of Dhanush. No other actors would have fitted in this role. The heroine Tapasee is a Delhi girl. When I first saw her photo, I did not like her. I thought that she will not suit for an Anglo Indian girl character.

But when I saw her personally I decided that she should be the heroine of this film. She will look different in this film. I have given importance to her role. Poet Jayabalan has lived his character in this film. Apart from this he has written a song for this film. Radha Ravi has dubbed for Jayabalan.

It is well known that he sung a song in the Vaanam movie and this song is all set for release on 15th.

Sources say that this song is the highlight of the movie with awesome lyrics. Right now SImbu and Anushka are shooting in and around Chennai for the movie and recently SImbu said that ANushka is one of the most awesome actress that he worked with.

Director Pandiraj plans next

It’s time to move on for Pandiraj. After two making two films set in rural background and winning a National Award, the director is now getting ready for his next venture, which is a city-based subject.

“Yes, I am entering the city for the first time. Though the film will be in an urban background, there will be no compromise on realism”, says the proud maker of ‘Pasanga’ and ‘Vamsam’.

Throwing more light on his third venture, he says, “The three National Awards won by ‘Pasanga’ has made me more responsible.
So I am now working extra time on the script to ensure that there is no lag anywhere”.

Saying a big no to infusing glamour in his film, Pandiraj says, “My films would never have glamour. I don’t think skin show is essential to make a movie click at the box office. Story should be the main attraction”.
