“My ex wife and present wife have become good friends,” says Prakash Raj

Actor Prakash Raj said that his ex wife and his present wife have become friendly with each other.

He had married actress Lalitha Kumari who is the sister of actress Disco Shanthi. He had three children. (one child is dead). Due to his love with the Bollywood choreographer Pony Varma, he divorced Lalitha Kumari. He recently married Pony Varma. Both the Prakash Raj’s children are staying with them.

 

When speaking about his new married life, Prakash Raj said,” In the North India ladies who have married newly have the habit of fasting for the whole day without even going for shooting, I like this new relationship.

 

While speaking about his ex wife Lalitha Kumari he said,” Both the children are staying with me. My ex wife Lalitha Kumari and my present wife Pony Varma has become good friends.”

Song sung by Simbhu has been released in London

Simbhu was busy in the shooting of Poda Podi in London. The song recording of the film Vaanam which has Simbhu and Bharath in the cast has also been done in London by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

 

The producer Ganesh who wanted to give publicity in an innovative way, has released a song written and sung by Simbhu. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

  

We have heard about audio launches but this is a first time a single song has been launched in London for the first time.

Are Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara getting married in December?

There is news that Nayanthara will be marrying Prabhu Deva during the month of December. Nayanthara who was busy in Tamil and Telugu films is not accepting any new films these days.

She was acting only in Boss Engira Baskaran. She has also completed this film. She has also completed the films in Telugu and Kannada. Now she is not accepting any new films.

Because of this there is news in the cinema circle that Nayanthara will be getting married to Prabhu Deva in the month of December. When asked Nayanthara manager about it, he said,” Nayanthara has completed all the films she accepted.

She is not accepting any new films. Apart from this I don’t know anything.” Prabhu Deva is already married and is now living separately.

Udhayanidhi Stalin is ready for hero

Udhayanidhi Stalin is now ready to kick-start his career as an actor. After going through various scripts and discussions, the producer has finally chosen director Rajesh to wield megaphone for his film. In fact, he was much impressed with the entertaining style of filmmaking in ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’. Now the duo is all set to kick-start their next project.

We hear it from the closer sources that Udhayanidhi Stalin and director Rajesh have zeroed down on couple of interesting titles taken from Rajesh’s previous films dialogue and song.

It will be either ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ (song sequence from Rajesh’s debut directorial ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ or ‘Nanbenda’ (Punch line of ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’)

Udhayanidhi Stalin is busy now going through the production phase of Suriya-Shruthi Haasan starrer ‘Ezham Arivu’ and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. He is now thinking to promote the film ‘Myna’ with a greater magnitude.

Udhayanidhi has chosen a role that suits him well to the core of his looks and character. Just like his previous films, Rajesh will make another comedy entertainer.

Let us hope the new combo makes a good show with their best efforts.

Madhavan Plays Villain In Vettai

Director Lingusamy after the huge success of ‘Paiyaa’ will be directing his next movie titled ‘Vettai’ with Arya and Tamannah playing the lead role.

It was said that Madhavan would be a part of Vettai, playing the character of Arya’s brother, but later rumours were rife that Madhavan had backed out of Vettai.

Now sources confirm that Madhavan is indeed a part of the Vettai cast. Another interesting buzz is that Madhavan will be playing a negative role in the movie. Maddy has earlier done the negative shaded role in ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’, directed by Mani Ratnam.

If Mani Ratnam has a style, Lingusamy has a different style. So it will be interesting to see know Lingusamy has pitted Madhavan against Arya.

Vettai has also got one of the best technical crew. Music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, editing part is handled by Anthony and camera will be focused by Nirav Shah.

With Linguswamy’s Paiyaa making profitable business with Cloud Nine movies. Dayanidhi Azhagiri’s Cloud Nine movies will be taking care of the production and distribution part of Vettai.

Suriya in Kamal Hassan Multi Starrer

The trend has started for Multi-starrer movies in all the industries. Here why we talking about multi starrer movies is Padma Sri Kamal Haasan is planning to direct a movie with stars from south India.

Kamal Hassan is scripting a multi starrer project in which he is giving prominent roles for all the big heroes from south industry

The cast would be  Suriya, Mohan Lal, and Kamal Hassan too in a lead role,and the female leads would be Trisha, Genelia, and Deepika Padukone the bollywood beauty.

Suriya who is familiar with the multi-starrers movies is extremely happy in sharing the screen with Kamal and great actor like Mohanlal.Suriya’s multi starrer movies were ‘Friends’ with Vijay in 2001, Aayutha Ezhuthu with Madhavan and Siddarth in 2004,and the ongoing project ‘Rattha Charithiram’ in which he sharing the screen with Vivek Oberoi.Its quite a good experience for Suriya to handle any Multi starrer.

Kamla Hassan too is also having handful of experience in taking up multi starrers.His movies like ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, ‘Hey Ram’,Eenadu proves this.

Lets see whether Kamal Hassan makes a movie with all the stars in the same movie or caters the actors invidually according to their languages.

Vijay’s Political Project

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay has almost completed his 51st film Kaaval Kaadhal with Asin and is all set to commence work on his 52nd. The film titled as Velayudham to be produced by Aascar Ravichandran and directed by Jeyam Raja will have Hansika Motwani and Genelia D’Souza as Vijay’s on screen partners. Velayudham is the remake of Telugu Azad which featured Nagarjuna and is said to deal with the serious issues that are plaguing the common man and the solutions for the same. It appears that the film may be laced with political flavor.

The launch of Velayudham on 15th July will be a unique one but in a very grandiose manner akin to any political function. The event will be held at the Madras University Centenary hall and more than 10,000 Vijay fans will be gracing the occasion. The caring star that Vijay is, he would be distributing colorful T shirts and biriyani packets to each and every fan who attends the function. A novel launch indeed!

Dhanush’s ‘Mappillai’ in final schedule!

The young hero Dhanush who is planning to have a holiday schedule is keen on wrapping up his film ‘Uthamaputhiran’ which is shooting at fast pace in and around locations of the city. On the other hand, the hero has completed the initial schedule of his brother Selva raghavan’s new film which is on the sets.


Sources say that he have to wait for some more days to have a resting schedule as he has to work on for the final schedule of his under production latest film ‘Mappilai’ as soon as after completing his current shooting projects. The major portions of the final schedule will be shooting in Tamilnadu around places like Karaikudi and Pollachi.

Arjun’s 4 movies releasing in 2010

Thirty years in film industry and yet action king Arjun strikes with the same spectacular shows as he posed three decades ago. Looking young, zippy, and energetic is his unparalleled USP. With his four important films scheduled for release by the end of 2010, the actor is busy now simultaneously shooting for these projects.

The first to hit the screens in this league will be his bilingual movie Vande Mataram, in which he has shared screen space with Malayalam superstar Mammootty. This film is directed by D. Aravindan and is produced by Henry under the banner of Pankaj Productions. His other film Maasi directed by Kiccha features him as a cop, who doesn’t use his brawniness, but his brains to spifflicate the baddies.
Striding away from these films will be Vallakottai as Arjun performs an unusual role of a petty thief. Literally vexed with his fraudulent acts, he decides to give up. But his arrival in Vallakottai, a district in Southern Tamil Nadu has different plans for him. Filmmaker Kiccha adds that the film will be racy enough to keep audiences on edge of their seats, with a climax studded with breathtaking stunts.

Arjun’s Mei Kaan will be a thriller set in the backdrop of Malaysia and is directed by Major Ravi, who recently completed shooting for his multilingual movie Kandahar with superstars Mohan Lal and Amitabh Bachchan.

When the media people asked him why this sudden change, he said,” I will not so easily become a fan of anyone else. Earlier I was a fan of Jyothika.
But after seeing Arundhathi I became the fan of Anushka. Normally it would be the job of the hero to carry the film on his shoulder but in Arundhathi, Anushka has carried the whole film in her shoulder. That is why I became the fan of Anushka.”

Surya says that Raktha Charithram is not meant for children

After roaring in Singam, Surya is taking lot of efforts in the two major projects Ezham Arivu and Raktha Charithra.


When asked him that what is so special in his villainous hero role in the film Raktha Charithram, he said,” Raktha Charithram is definitely not a film to be seen with children. It has been a long time that a film like that has been made.
 
This film is meant for those who desire to see a pucca action film in a different dimension. Ram Gopal Varma says that this film required his 27 years experience. It is a real experience for me to work in such kind of film.

It is only 10 hours ride in car from my house to the place that this incident has taken place. It is really shaky to think that this incident has taken place there. This film is autobiographic film. Ram Gopal Varma has done a lot of research.
